Rogue Ohio Power Bar – Cerakote
Our 29MM Ohio Power Bar is now available in a Cerakote shaft finish, with a range of exclusive colorways to choose from. This unique polymer-ceramic composite coating was originally popularized in the gun industry for its durability in thin applications, and it offers up to 100x the corrosion resistance of standard black zinc.
Aside from the finish, the Cerakote Ohio Power Bar is manufactured to the same general specifications as the original model, combining a 205,000 PSI, zero-flex steel shaft with quality bronze bushings and a snap ring design for a smooth, consistent spin. The bar features single powerlifting knurl marks and center knurling, machined in a pattern that’s deep and coarse without being sharp or abrasive. This makes the Ohio Power Bar a perfectly honed workhorse for the bench, squat, and deadlift.
The 45LB Cerakote Ohio Power Bar is machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, USA. All colorways feature our new Proprietary Matte Black sleeves, finished through a process that effectively transforms the surface of the steel rather than coating it, greatly increasing the sleeves’ long-term corrosion resistance and color endurance.
What Real Customers Had To Say At Rogue Fitness
Positive Reviews
“This was my first barbell and I went all out getting the stainless/stainless. Been using it for 8+ months and it is a wonderful bar. Very well made. However, I have switched over to the regular Ohio bar. Turns out the more aggressive knurling on the OPB is too much for my needs and the center knurling is not fun when it scrapes against chin, neck, and shins. With the normal Ohio bar my hands dont get torn up and its still plenty grippy! Again, the OPB is a work of art and performs well but I recommend most people only need the normal Ohio bar”
“Have yet to use this barbell but man it looks amazing! The quality is unreal! The knurling feels aggressive but not over the top. I have the SS with SS sleeves. I will say that I’m a bit disappointed that there’s a small ding in the sleeve for how much I spent on it but I don’t want to lower the rating just cause of that. But other than that it’s great. I will say I’m pretty inexperienced to probably most on here, and I came from using a cheapo barbell to basically the Ferrari of barbells lol.”
“Aggressive knurling, stainless steel collar, and shaft this barbell is amazing and worth every penny.”
Negative Reviews
“A really good power bar. A grip that sticks well to your hand without being too sharp. But mine weighs 45.7 pounds, which is disappointing”
