Fully machined and assembled in Columbus, OH, the Ohio Bar continues to represent the highest level of precision engineering. The Cerakote Finish version maintains all the key features of the standard Ohio Bar, including a 190,000 PSI tensile strength shaft, dual knurl marks, quality composite bushings, and a lifetime warranty against bending.* A barbell that has always delivered multi-purpose versatility and dependable performance now also offers the ability to match it with the colors of your gym / school / team etc.

“Bought this as an upgrade over an economy bar I had and glad I did. Does the bar make a difference? It absolutely does. If you are reading reviews to evaluate if the cost is justified, it is. In my opinion, knurling feels mild and is fine as I wear gloves with a wrist wrap. I measured diameter at 28.9mm at the knurling, not a complaint just thought I’d pass it along.”
“This bar is awesome. I got the Stainless Steel shaft. I use it for CrossFit (w/ Olympic lifting) daily. The knurling is hands down the best I have ever felt. It is very “grippy” due to the dense, tight pattern of the knurling, but it doesn’t cut. It gives the benefits of an aggressive knurl pattern without making you pay the price with torn up hands. Stainless Steel gives the best feel and is definitely the way to go. The bushing bearings provide plenty of spin for Oly lifts under most circumstances.”

“One of the sleeves is slightly larger in diameter whenever I put plates on it grinds the aluminum down on the inside the plate and it’s difficult to slide on but the other sleeve is great and the plates slide on fine. over all the bar is fantastic, I just expected much better QC for the price.”
